One of the focuses of Easton Community Church’s mission and ministry is intentional faith development. No matter where we are in life or in our faith journey, we all can grow or develop in our faith and our relationship with our heavenly Parent.
Faith development is:
· Nurtured by Study
· Strengthened through Fellowship
· Exhibited in Service, and
· Sustained with Support.
Easton Community Church seeks to make available opportunities and resources for this development to happen. Two types of resources are currently offered, small groups and our literature ministry.
We are currently offering several devotional resources in the Narthex of the Church. These are described on the Literature Ministry Page.
Small groups are another means we offer for faith development. Our goal is to offer several types of small groups: study groups, fellowship groups based around common interests, and support groups for specific needs. Information on our current small groups can be found on the Small Group Ministry Page.
What’s ahead? One interest group has already been proposed and a number of persons have expressed an interest. That interest is genealogy. Do you have an interest that others might share as a fellowship group? Are you aware of a need that calls for a support group? Is there a particular Bible book, Biblical theme, or book that you would like to study? Please share your ideas with Ray Rainsberger or Margaret Tambi-Barley.
